March 17 St. Patrick’s Day

Henry County Public Health’s regular immunization clinic will be held today from 9 to 11 am and from 1-4 pm. During the month of March the regular clinics on Tuesday and Thursday will not be held.

A Spring Tracking program with Des Moines County Conservation will begin at 11:00am on March 20th to teach the public about the traces left behind from the animals at Starr’s Cave Nature Center. RSVP is required to attend this 1-2 mile tracking excursion. Masks are required if unable to maintain a 6-foot social distance. Participants may leave at any time. The Henry Co Historic Preservation Commission will meet at 1:00 PM at the Henry Co Courthouse 2nd floor conference room.  The public is invited to attend.

New London VFW serves a dinner from 5 to 7:30 pm.  The menu is corned beef and cabbage, Irish potatoes and a dessert.  This is by freewill donation.  Proceeds will help with Post upkeep.  No tacos will be served.  The public is open.
