DESCRIPTION:Second Baptist Ministries will host its 29th Annual African-American Celebration on Saturday\, February 28th\, 2026. The celebration will feature Pastor Campbell and First Lady Debra Campbell as the main presenters. Dinner will be served at 12:00 noon\, with the program beginning at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Campbell and First Lady Debra Campbell will perform three musical duets. The program will also include a testimony from Dempsey Dixon\, along with remarks from additional speakers. Activities will include a trivia quiz and prize drawing\, with entertainment and fellowship for all ages. For more information\, contact Betty Mullen at 319-931-3135 or email betty_mullen@yahoo.com \nThe Daddy Daughter Dance\, themed Once Upon a Time\, will take place Saturday\, February 28\, 2026\, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant High School. The evening includes dancing\, games\, crafts\, punch and cookies\, plus raffles and prizes. Cost is $20 per person\, with professional photos available for purchase through Broeker Photography. The event is presented by Henry County 4 H. \nThe Mount Pleasant Panther Trap Team will host its 10th Annual Banquet Fundraiser on Saturday\, February 28\, 2026\, at Airport Road Vineyard. The evening begins with a social hour at 5:30 pm\, followed by dinner at 6:30 pm. Tickets are $25 and include the meal\, tickets are available through any trap team member. The night will feature a silent auction\, live auction\, and gun raffles\, with all proceeds helping support and sustain the Mount Pleasant Trap Team program and the opportunities it provides to student athletes. \nThe Crawfordsville Lyons Club is hosting a Pancake Supper from 4pm – 7pm at the Fire Station.  Pancakes\, Sausage\, and Eggs are on the menu.  The meal is a free will donation with all proceeds going toward  WACO High School Senior Scholarships. \n
