DESCRIPTION:The Henry County Republican Central Committee is hosting a “Meet the Candidates” on the Republican Primary Ticket meeting.  The meeting is being held at the City Hall Meeting Room\, 307 E. Monroe Street\, 2nd floor.  Doors will open at 8:30am; the event will begin at 9:30am. \nAll God’s Creatures is holding a rummage sale at The Coffee Depot in Mt. Pleasant\, 420 N. Adams Street from 8am – 1pm.  All proceeds will go to the shelter! \nTickets are now on sale for the 71st Annual Mt. Pleasant Rotary BBQ on Thursday\, June 4th from 5pm – 7pm at the Wright Family Pavilion in McMillian Park.  Meals include pork chop or turkey tenderloin\, served with a baked potato\, coleslaw\, roll\, and cookie.  $15/adults & $7 for children.  Advance tickets may be purchased at 5 Star Community Credit Union\, Pilot Grove Savings Bank (downtown location)\, Mt. Pleasant City Hall\, or any MP Rotarian. \nProm wraps up today for Mt. Pleasant\, Holy Trinity\, and Van Buren. Have a great night and celebrate safely.
