DESCRIPTION:The Mount Pleasant Vets Hall (VFW) at 300 W. Monroe St. Monthly Veterans Breakfast is from 8:30am – 9:30am. The breakfast is open veterans plus one. \nMain Street Mt. Pleasant and Henry County Farm Bureau present AG Night – Music on Main from 5pm – 9pm in Central Park!  Enjoy live music\, agriculture themed activities for all ages\, tractors\, food\, and fun for the whole family!  Celebrating agriculture in beautiful downtown Mt. Pleasant! \nThe Salem Farmers Market is open from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on the first and third Friday of each month through September at Salem City Park. Shop fresh produce\, homemade goods\, and more from local vendors while supporting local businesses. Families can also enjoy a bounce house on every first Friday of the month. Vendors are welcome\, and there is no vendor fee. To sign up\, visit the Salem Farmers Market or City of Salem\, Iowa Facebook pages. \nReminder that the Children’s Discovery Center will be closed this July- It will re-open on August 3rd!
