Residents are reminded to set their green recycling bins at the curb for collection. Accepted items include paper\, cardboard\, plastic containers\, metal cans\, and glass. A green recycling bin is required to participate in curbside pickup and can be purchased at City Hall. \nIt’s Taco Tuesday at the Mount Pleasant Christian School! The meal will be served from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. and will feature homemade tortilla shells and homemade corn chips\, along with homemade salsa. Store-bought tortilla shells and chips will also be available. Meat options include beef or chicken\, with black beans offered as a vegetarian option. Meals are available for dine-in or to-go\, and payment is accepted by cash\, card\, or local check. This weeks taco Tuesday is sponsored  by Kevin and Diane Dunsmore. \nThe New London Post Prom Activities Committee will host a Taco Night Fundraiser on Tuesday\, February 3\, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the NL Community Hall\, located at 103 W. Washington Street in New London. Orders are $5 each and include three street tacos with toppings such as lettuce\, tomato\, onion\, cheese\, salsa\, sour cream\, and jalapeños.
