Residents can bring recyclables and rechargeable batteries for proper disposal. Learn more at dmcwaste.org. \nQuality Plus Feeds will host a Customer Appreciation Open House on Thursday\, March 26th. Stop in beginning at 8:00 a.m. for coffee and donuts\, and stick around for dinner served from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the St. James Parish Center in St. Paul. Attendees can also learn more about mineral booking and feed specials. \nThe Mount Pleasant High School Drama Department will present Mamma Mia! Thursday\, Friday\, and Saturday at 7:00 p.m.\, with a Sunday matinee at 2:00 p.m. Performances will be held at the Heatilator Performing Arts Center in Mount Pleasant. Tickets are $10 and will be available at the door. Come out and enjoy this fun\, high-energy musical featuring your local high school talent. \nThe Mount Pleasant Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Banquet will be held Thursday\, March 26th\, with cocktails beginning at 5:00 p.m. and dinner served at 6:00 p.m. The evening will bring together local businesses and community members to celebrate the past year\, recognize achievements\, and look ahead to continued growth in the Mount Pleasant area. \nThe Moose Lodge in Mt. DESCRIPTION:DMC Regional Waste offers both a main drop-off site and mobile recycling options on Wednesdays. Residents can recycle items\, including rechargeable batteries\, at multiple locations. The main drop-off site at 1000 West Washington Street in Mount Pleasant is open from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Mobile recycling will also be available in New London at the Town Square from 8:15 to 11:30 AM\, and in Danville at City Hall from 1:30 to 3:00 PM. DESCRIPTION:The Fairfield Lions Club will host a Spaghetti Supper on Tuesday\, March 24\, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Fairfield Middle School\, 404 W. Fillmore. The event will benefit the Fairfield High School Activities Department and will include a silent auction and raffle featuring items from local businesses. Tickets are $10\, with a freewill donation accepted for children age five and under. \nHenry County Solid Waste Collection hours of operation are Tuesday – Thursday 11am – 5:30pm\, on Friday 7:30am – 5:30pm and Saturday from 7:30pm – noon. The rural sanitation service applies to residents across Henry County and is for rural residents only; city trash isn’t accepted. Proof of rural residency is required.
