Registration is available online at www.our.show/spies \nFishing Tournament at Oakland Mills at 7am- The Save the Bridge Catfish Tournament starts at 7\, while registration is at 6am. It is $25 per adult and $10 for young anglers. Trophies\, drawings\, and raffle prizes will be available for main categories for wrangling Catfish. All proceeds support local community efforts to raise awareness for and preserve historic infrastructure.

DESCRIPTION:Come and enjoy these festivities at the Henry County Fair today!! \n\n8:00am – 9:00am- Swine Check-in\n\n\n\n\n8:00am – 10:00am Clover kids & Open Class Exhibits Judging- A non-competitive\, morning event where youth and community members bring in their static projects to be showcased and celebrated!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n9:00am – 11:00am Sheep & Goats Check-In- All market sheep and goats must be checked\, weighed\, and have their scrapie tags or tattoos verified\n\n\n\n\n\n\n11:00am – 1:00pm Beef Check-In- 4-H and FFA livestock exhibitions.\n\n\n\n\n11:00am – 4:00pm LEGO Contest Drop Off- Participants to bring their pre-built\, original LEGO creations to the Exhibit Building to be checked in for the competition.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n2:00pm – 3:00pm Rabbit and Poultry check in- Bring your animals to the Rabbit/Poultry Barn to be officially weighed\, inspected for health\, and verified against your pre-fair entry records.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n4:00pm – 6:00pm Farmers Market (WP)-  A special community event where local vendors gather at the Henry County Fairgrounds (McMillan Park) to sell farm-fresh produce\, baked goods\, and handmade craft\n\n\n\n\n\n\n4:00pm LEGO Contest Judging- The original\, hand crafted pieces of creators will be judged at the Exhibit Building.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n4:30pm Poultry\, Calf\, Sheep\, Goat & Rabbit Costume Contest- A fun\, creative event where 4-H\, FFA\, and Farm Bureau youth dress up their farm animals and compete in the show ring.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n6:00pm Kids Pedal Pull (Tractor Headquarters)- A fun\, non-motorized version of the traditional tractor pull where children ride miniature tractors and tow a weighted sled to see who can pedal the furthest.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n7:00pm Farm Bureau Animals Check-In- Designated evening on opening day when participants in the 4-H/Farm Bureau Bottle Animal Show officially register and check in their animals.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n7:30pm State Fair Qualifiers Announced- 4-H and FFA judges publicly reveal which 4-H exhibitors have earned the right to advance and compete with their projects at the Iowa State Fair\n\n\n\n\n\n7:30pm Queen Contest & 4-H Clothing Event (WP)- Local 4-H youth model outfits on stage\, leading right into the crowning of the new Fair Queen and her court.

DESCRIPTION:Everything there is to enjoy at the Henry County Fair today! \n\n11:00am – 3:00pm Bucket/Bottle Interviews- This beginner-friendly program allows youth to raise an orphan or bucket-fed calf and culminates in three judged components: an in-person interview\, a project record book\, and the show ring.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n12:00pm Sheep Show- 4-H and FFA livestock exhibition where local youth display their market lambs and breeding ewes.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n3:00pm Goat Show- A multi-division agricultural competition showcasing the hard work\, animal stewardship\, and showmanship skills of local 4-H and FFA youth.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n4:30pm Livestock Scanning- A process where a specialist uses ultrasound technology on market animals (like beef\, sheep\, and swine) to evaluate their meat quality and composition.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n5:00pm – 6:30pm Farm Family Ag Appreciation Meal (WP)- An annual community event hosted at the Henry County Fair (IA) designed to celebrate local farmers and the agricultural community.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n5:30pm City Band Performance- A traditional musical event featuring the local community musicians.\n\n\n\n\n6:00pm Bill Riley Talent Show-  An official local qualifying event for the prestigious Iowa State Fair Talent Search. Local amateur performers compete to advance to the state championship\n\n\n\n\n\n\n6:30pm 4-H/Farm Bureau Bottle Animal Show- A noncompetitive 4-H event that allows young children to learn about animal care\, practice showmanship\, and exhibit a bottle-fed animal (such as a lamb\, goat\, or bucket calf) without the pressure of a judged livestock competition.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n7:30pm Impact Pro Wrestling- A premier Midwest independent professional wrestling promotion that brings a high-energy\, live wrestling event.\n\n\nTouching Our Grief Support Group 4-5:30 pm- Join this ongoing support group on the third Thursday of every month for adults who have suffered the loss of a family member or friend and are seeking support and education at the Everystep Conference Room 118 N Main St.
