This free will donation meal will feature five kinds of soup\, sandwiches\, desserts\, and drinks. Funds raised will support the addition of a pickleball court at the city park. Everyone is welcome to attend. \nThe Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce has a legislative forum scheduled at 7:30am this morning.  This event is free and open to the public and is being held at the Fairfield Public Library.  State legislators Senator Adrian Dickey and Representatives Helena Hayes and Jeff Shipley will provide updates from the Iowa Capitol and discuss issues currently under consideration. \nAll Mount Pleasant Area Chamber of Commerce members are invited to attend two upcoming Legislative Forums hosted by the Chamber’s Government Relations Committee with State Representatives Collins and Shipley and State Senators Dickey and Lofgren. Children ages 0 to 5 are welcome to come run\, ride\, climb\, and play in a fun\, indoor space. Parents must remain in the gym during playtime. Cost is just 50 cents per child\, and adults are free. Presented by Ethan Afshani\, the program is based on the diary of Lt. Henry J. Waltz of the 93rd Pennsylvania Infantry and offers a firsthand look at the historic battle. Two sessions will be held at noon and 6:30 pm. Gettysburg artifacts will be on display\, and the book will be available for purchase. \n\n\nLooking ahead to March 8th… It’s Puzzle Palooza at the First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall in Mt.
