It’s a great opportunity for the community to come together and enjoy a festive spring event. \nThe Winfield Fire and Rescue Pancake Supper will be held on Saturday\, March 28\, 2026\, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Winfield Fire Station\, located at 110 West Ash Street in Winfield. The evening will include pancakes\, sausage\, and a drink\, all served for a freewill donation. This community meal is hosted by Winfield Fire and Rescue. \nThe New London Dollars for Scholars Annual Auction will be held Saturday\, March 28th at the Charles Lorber Gymnasium in New London. A loose-meat sandwich meal prepared by the New London Senior Class will be served from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.\, with the live auction beginning at 6:00 p.m. Proceeds support scholarships for New London High School seniors and alumni returning to any post-secondary program. Pleasant Vets Hall will host a Vietnam Veterans Day Supper on Saturday\, March 28\, 2026\, at 300 West Monroe Street in Mt. Pleasant. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.\, followed by an opening ceremony at 6:00 p.m. A free will supper will be served at 6:30 p.m.\, and guest speaker BG (Retired) Roy S. Webb will present at 7:00 p.m. The evening will also include a Quilt of Valor presentation and door prizes.
