McMillian Park will be closed to vehicle traffic starting at noon today and at 6am on Sunday for a private Midwest Central Railroad photo event. The City of Mt. Pleasant explained that for safety reasons, the main road through McMillian will close today from noon – 10pm and on Sunday from 6am – 4pm. During the event, trains may pull forward and reverse at random times, and the crossings may be blocked for extended periods of time. The event is not open to the public and citizens are asked to avoid the area during the closure times. Please note that the Mt. Pleasant Farmer’s Market will be open as usual this morning.
