Authorities continue to ask for the public’s help locating a missing Mount Pleasant teenager.
Owen Pride Strunk, 14, was last seen September 4 and remains listed with the Iowa Missing Person Information Clearinghouse under the Mount Pleasant Police Department.
Mount Pleasant Police Chief Ryan Pilling tells KILJ that officers continue to follow up on tips in the case, but so far, none have resulted in a confirmed lead.
Pilling said police do not currently believe Owen is in danger and the case is being treated as a presumed runaway.
Owen is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 130 pounds, with red hair and brown eyes.
His family says Owen was wearing black pants and a black top and may have been riding a red bicycle when he left.
Anyone who sees Owen or has information about his location should contact the Mount Pleasant Police Department. Call 911 if he is seen and immediate assistance is needed.
