Prep Volleyball- The Southeast Iowa Super Conference (SEISC) is ready to renew their annual tournament to decide the champion with #3 Holy Trinity Catholic–10-time champion–looking to make it a three-peat. The four hosts this season will be WACO, Columbus, Van Buren County, and Winfield-Mt. Union.
Pool #1
WACO will be joined by Louisa-Muscatine, Pekin, and #3 Holy Trinity Catholic. The Crusaders have not loss to a member of the North Division since WACO won a five-set thriller back on October 1st, 2020.
Pool #2
Central Lee, West Burlington, and New London will make the drive over to Columbus for their pool play. West Burlington is still undefeated in conference play, while Columbus is 3-2 in the North.
Pool #3
Van Buren County will host Mediapolis, Wapello, and Highland. The Arrows have struggled outside of North play, sporting just a 5-11 record compared to their 4-0 divisional record. Mediapolis has been impressive this season with Addi Steffener leading the pack.
Pool #4
Lastly, Danville, Hillcrest Academy, and Burlington Notre Dame will travel to Winfield-Mt. Union for their collection of competition. A young Wolves team has already swept Hillcrest Academy earlier this season, while Danville shocked the Nikes with a contentious straight set victory led by Alivia Bauer’s 22 kills a week ago.
