Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington has added a new physician to its nephrology team.
Doctor Viorica Khalili is a board-certified nephrologist with more than 20 years of experience in nephrology and internal medicine.
Khalili specializes in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of kidney diseases, including chronic kidney disease, high blood pressure, dialysis management and kidney transplant care.
Before coming to Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center, Khalili served as a consultant nephrologist at American Hospital Dubai. Earlier in her career, she practiced at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Oklahoma City and with Internal Medicine and Nephrology Associates in Edmond, Oklahoma.
Khalili completed a nephrology fellowship at the University of Illinois at Chicago and is board certified in both nephrology and internal medicine.
She joins Doctor Moldovan Sabov, Doctor Maria Story and Susan Brown, ARNP, in providing nephrology services at Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington.
