New London will make the trip to Fort Madison tonight at 7:30 pm.
Mediapolis will tangle with Danville at home tonight at 7 pm.
WACO will hit the road to play Highland tonight at 7 pm.
Wapello will compete against Louisa-Muscatine at home tonight at 7:30 pm.
Winfield-Mt. Union will welcome Pekin to town tonight at 7 pm. Kynlee Buffington is back to form after missing most of last season due to injury–an injury she was not cleared from until June–and Wolves head coach Ashlei Venghaus has noticed the evolution of her game,
“Yeah, I think the fun thing to see is, you know, I’ve watched Kynlee grow through her career. I mean, she was on our first club team when she was 10 or 11. And so it’s been fun to watch her progress through her career. And as a freshman, she was that freshman who wanted the power kills. She liked to see the ball hit the floor without a touch. And now she’s getting that, but it’s in a more strategic way. She’s recognizing spots on the court on the other side of the net, and she’s making the play rather than just that power kill. And so that’s been really fun to watch.”
Fairfield, Columbus, and West Burlington will head to Williamsburg on Saturday, September 12th, for a tournament.
Mt. Pleasant will participate in the Wilton Tournament on Saturday.
#3 Holy Trinity Catholic will participate in the Knoxville Quad on Monday, September 14th.
Central Lee will take on Mediapolis at home on Tuesday, September 15th, at 7 pm.
Washington will host Keokuk on Tuesday at 7:15 pm.

Fairfield will host the “Ron Hunerdosse” Invite tonight with Notre Dame/West Burlington, Mt. Pleasant, New London, Van Buren County, Wapello, Washington, WACO, and Winfield-Mt. Union participating at 5:20 pm.

Mt. Pleasant will get to stay at home when they host Oskaloosa tomorrow, September 11th, at 7:30 pm. KILJ 105.5 FM, kilj.com, will be on the call with the pregame show at 7:15 pm.
Wapello will be looking to pull off the upset tomorrow against Pekin with kickoff at 7 pm at home.
WACO will travel to play HLV-TC tomorrow at 7 pm.
Winfield-Mt. Union will tangle with English Valleys tomorrow with gametime at 7 pm.
West Burlington/Notre Dame will look to keep their streak going against Keokuk at home tomorrow at 7 pm.

High School Girls’ Tennis

Southeastern Community College
The volleyball team will host Hawkeye Community College tonight at 6 pm.
The men’s soccer team’s first half surge was all the team needed to down Madison College yesterday, winning 2-0. Ethan Murphy and Ilian Coirault each had a goal in the victory, while Yuta Obia stopped five shots on goal. The Blackhawks will play Jefferson College on the road on Saturday, September 12th, with the men playing first at 2 pm.

#21 Iowa will host the Cy-Hawk Series on Saturday, September 12th, at 6:30 pm. KILJ 105.5 FM will have the Hawkeye broadcast, while 98.5 FM and AM 1130 will have the Cyclone broadcast.
