The Southeast Iowa Super Conference (SEISC) Tournament held their finals at SCC over the weekend and #3 Holy Trinity Catholic swept their way to their third consecutive conference championship.

In the quarterfinals, the Crusaders handled Columbus by scores of 25-11 and 25-10, as the Wildcats were led by Kate Totemeier’s three kills. Mediapolis would meet Holy Trinity Catholic in the semifinals after defeating Danville in straight sets (25-16, 25-20). In the semifinals, the Crusaders skipped past Mediapolis, winning the two sets 25-9 and 25-17, sending the Bullettes to the 3rd place match.

On the bottom half of the bracket, West Burlington smacked Pekin, relenting only nine points each in both sets, while the rematch between Burlington Notre Dame and Wapello went down to the wire with the Nikes sneaking past the Arrows in three sets by scores of 21-25, 27-25, and 16-14. The Falcons, who was the last team to win the SEISC title, breezed past the Nikes in straight sets (25-14, 25-23) to set up the championship game.
