A Washington man has been convicted of carrying firearms on school property.
A Washington County jury found Jedadiah West Reed Holden, age 22, guilty of two counts of carrying firearms on school grounds. Both charges are Class D felonies.
The charges followed the discovery of two handguns beneath a tree near the Washington High School baseball field in May 2025.
Authorities identified Holden as a suspect after reviewing surveillance video. He was arrested the following month.
Holden is scheduled to be sentenced November 12 in Washington County District Court.
