Mt. Pleasant Project Update:

 Kinney & Sons have completed the underground and grading on the Middle School and Lincoln St. Project. Jones Contracting moved in today, Tuesday August 9th, to start preparing for placing concrete. Lincoln Street is closed from the railroad tracks to the north side of Saunders Street. Vernon Street is closed just east of Lincoln Street and they will remain closed until all concrete work and backfill are completed. Jones is working to complete the street portions of this project before school starts. When the work is completed new colored crosswalks will be installed at the street crossings and sidewalk approaches reconstructed to be ADA Compliant. The Vernon Street intersection is being upgraded and bad areas of concrete between Vernon and Saunders are being replaced.
