The Henry County Heritage Trust is coordinating an Historic Church Tour in Mount Pleasant from 1-4 pm. Cost is $20. You may start at any of the six churches…Prairie Gem Church and Center M.E. Chapel both on the Old Threshers grounds, St. Michael’s 202 E. Washington, the former Congregational Church at 300 E. Washington, Second Baptist 407 W. Saunders, and Jesus es el Camino formerly Church of the Nazarene at 409 E. Monroe.

The Players Workshop on Grove Street in Burlington is holding auditions for The Enchanted Bookshop for students in 7th and 8th grades from 6 to 8 pm. Students in grades 5 and 6 will audition May 1 from 6 to 8 pm.
