City wide garage sales in New London!

The Trenton United Methodist Church invites everyone to a Pancake breakfast from 7:30 to 9:30 am. ALL proceeds will be divided between the Fellowship Cup and the Tolson Center. There is no admission charge.  Your free will offering will be gratefully accepted. Trenton is located 10 miles Northwest of Mt Pleasant, on paved roads, with the church building at the Southeast edge of town.  The Sunrise Room is fully accessible, with plenty of free parking.

There will be a free family concert with Jim Gill at 10 am at the Mount Pleasant Public Library.  There will be singing, fun activities and learning. Bring the kids and a blanket. Grab a snack and gift bag.  There will be interactive tables, vision screenings and car seat checks.

The Mount Pleasant City Compost site is open every Saturday from 8 am to 5 pm and on Wednesday from 1 to 6 pm. The site is located at the intersection of Hoaglin Drive and Yocum Lane.

The Henry County Heritage Center Museum at 403 W. Madison Street in Mount Pleasant opens for the touring season with hours from 1 to 4 pm.

The Dover Museum,  chapel, and depot in New London will be opening for the season this weekend. Hours are 1-4 Saturdays and Sundays through October.
