The Mount Pleasant Kiwanis group is helping to sponsor an Aviation Celebration and Fly-In at the Mount Pleasant Airport.  A pancake breakfast will be served from 7:30 to 11 am.  Young Eagles First Flights will be provided from 9 to 11 am and there will be aviation attractions like aircraft on display, airplane photo op and a medivac helicopter.

The Mount Pleasant City Compost site is open every Saturday from 8 am to 5 pm and on Wednesday from 1 to 6 pm. The site is located at the intersection of Hoaglin Drive and Yocum Lane.

The Childrens’ Discovery Center is open from 10 am to noon.  The Center is located on the east side of the Mount Pleasant Public Library Civic Center on East Monroe Street.

Coffee High School Olds Alumni Swedish Museum. Please come join us for Fika/Coffee at 2:00 p.m. at the Swedish Museum in Swedesburg, Iowa.

Camp Eastman Fish Fry  at the Wild Buck Shelter at Camp Eastman, 750 E Co Rd 1780 Nauvoo, IL. Menu includes fried catfish, french fries, cole slaw, baked beans. Lunch from noon to 1:30 pm, other activities from 9 am to 4 pm. RSVP for headcount purposes at www.campeastman.org. Free will donation online or at the event.
