The Mount Pleasant City Compost site is open Wednesdays from 1 pm to 6 pm and on Saturdays from 8 am to 5 pm. The site is located behind Saunders Park at the intersection of Yocum Lane and Hoaglin Drive.

The Southeastern Community College Keokuk campus nurse pinning ceremony will be held at 3 pm at the New Testament Christian Church. The full commencement ceremony will be held on campus out doors. In the event of inclement weather the ceremony will be moved to the Grand Theatre.
