The Mount Pleasant city compost site is open Saturdays from 8 am to 5 pm and Wednesdays from 1 to 6 pm thru the summer.

Mount Pleasant Farmers Market is held Saturday from 8:30 am to 11 am in McMillan Park under Wright Pavilion. Wednesday hours are 4 to 6 pm.

The Dover Museum, chapel and depot on Main Street New London is open Saturdays and Sundays from 1 to 4 pm thru October.

The Henry County Heritage Museum at 403 W. Monroe in Mount Pleasant is open on Saturdays from 1-4 pm.

Lockridge Fire & Rescue breakfast & antique tractor show from 6:30-10:30 a.m. at the Lockridge School, free will donation. Biscuits and gravy, sausage patty, pancakes, scrambled eggs, milk, juice, and coffee. All tractors welcome!

The Mount Pleasant Childcare Center has partnered with Pineapple Whip Paradise for a dole whip fundraiser! The trailer will be parked in our lot from 3-5 and a portion of all orders will be donated to us here at the Mount Pleasant Childcare Center!!
