The Henry County Recorder’s office will be closed for staff training June 15 and will open again on June 16 at 8 am.
Today by 4:30 pm will be the last day to sign up for group swimming lessons with the Mount Pleasant Park and Rec Department for Session 2: June 19-29 (Monday-Thursday). Register by calling 319.385.1475 or emailing mpparkandrec@gmail.com.

The Mount Pleasant City Compost site is open Wednesdays from 1 pm to 6 pm and on Saturdays from 8 am to 5 pm. The site is located behind Saunders Park at the intersection of Yocum Lane and Hoaglin Drive.
