Long-time band member Mike Lachnitt will conduct the eighth summer concert of the Burlington Municipal Band at the Crapo Park bandshell.  Mike’s program will include familiar band “chestnuts,” including classic marches, a “warhorse” overture, a broadway musical medley and the music of Duke Ellington.  The 7:30 PM concerts are family-friendly and free of charge.  Bring a lawn chair or a blanket or sit on provided benches.  In case of rain, the concert will move to the James Madison Education Center auditorium at 2132 Madison Avenue.

The Trenton United Methodist Church invites you to share and enjoy the fellowship of an ice cream social on Sunday July 23 from 2:00-4:00 PM in the Sunrise Room. Come to enjoy delicious homemade ice cream and goodies and unlimited fellowship.  This event is open to the public.  The building is fully accessible and there is plenty of free parking.  A free will offering will be accepted. Beat the heat with ice cream.  Come laugh, visit, and make a memory this summer.  Besides, it’s always cooler in Trenton!
