The Mount Pleasant City Compost site is open Wednesdays from 1 pm to 6 pm and on Saturdays from 8 am to 5 pm. The site is located behind Saunders Park at the intersection of Yocum Lane and Hoaglin Drive.

The Mount Pleasant Children’s Discovery Center is open from 4:30 to 6:30 pm.  The Center’s entrance is on the east side of the Mount Pleasant Public Library Civic Center on East Monroe Street.

The Mount Pleasant Farmer’s Market is in McMillan Park under Wright Pavilion from 4-6 pm. The Henry County Cattlemen will be grilling.

The Henry Co Historic Preservation Commission will hold its July meeting at the Henry Co courthouse conference room at 1:00 pm.  The public is invited to attend.
