VFW Post 7641 in New London will serve a special July taco night from 5-7 pm. Fresh tomatoes will make the tacos even better!

The Mount Pleasant City Compost site is open Wednesdays from 1 pm to 6 pm and on Saturdays from 8 am to 5 pm. The site is located behind Saunders Park at the intersection of Yocum Lane and Hoaglin Drive.

The Henry County Recorders Office will be closed today for training. They will reopen Tomorrow Thursday, July 27 at 8 am.

The Mount Pleasant Farmer’s Market is in McMillan Park under Wright Pavilion from 4-6 pm. The Henry County Cattlemen will be grilling.

Growing Hope Globally has a special guest giving a presentation at the First Presbyterian Church of Mt. Pleasant at 6pm. Fernanda Villeda is going to present about some of the work currently being done in Honduras to assist people to grow their own food and improve their diets.
