Holiday Stroll Craft Vendor Fair August 12th from 11 am to 5 pm at 136 West Main Street in New London. Come up to the Main Street in New London for some fun in the sun! Shopping, food, and prizes. This event is helping sponsor the annual Holiday Stroll and local vendors.

Momma Lu Car Show! Come to the Morning Sun School for an evening of great food, oldies
music, family fun, and beautiful cars, trucks, and bikes. All proceeds go to the community park project. 4pm-7pm, 2:00 car registration begins. $15 entry free(dash plaques and gift cards door prizes for car participants)

New London VFW will have Ham steak $10.00 Ribeye steak $18.00 from 5 – 7 p.m. Dinner includes: Baked potato, salad & dinner roll.

Today is the last day for the season for the Mt. Pleasant public pool. Lap swim is from 12 pm to 1 pm and open swim is from 1 pm to 7 pm.
