The Mount Pleasant Christian School 9th-12th graders are having a Pancake Breakfast at the school from 8-10am. It will be a Free will donation. Funds raised will help fund their class trip to Branson in a few weeks where they will go to the Sight and Sound Theatre and watch Queen Esther.

The Ladies for Charity Rummage Sale at St. Alphonsus Manning Hall at 607 S. Jackson Street, is open 9:00am – Noon today!   Free will offering today!

The Presbyterian Women will have a Fall Rummage & Bake Sale at First Presbyterian Church, 902 S. Walnut, Mt. Pleasant. Today they will be open from 8 am to 1 pm. Also, from 11 am to 1 pm there will also be a $2 bag sale. All items are 50 cents, unless marked!

Noah’s Ark Animal Foundation at 1986 Gear Avenue in Fairfield is hosting a Microchip & Vaccination Clinic from 11:00am – 2:00pm.  This clinic is open to the public and no appointment is necessary.  A licensed veterinarian offers the micro-chipping; including, registration of the chip for $25.  Rabies & yearly vaccinations for both dogs and cats are offered for only $15 each.  Toenail trims for dogs: $15, for cats: $10.  All proceeds benefit the animals and programs of Noah’s Ark Animal Foundation!

The Mount Pleasant Chapter of PFLAG is planning a community cultural festivity, TapestryFest, for Saturday, October 7th  from 1 to 5 PM in Central Park, Mount Pleasant. There will be musical performances, international food snacks, information tables, and children’s activities. This event is free and open to everyone. Bring a lawn chair.

Join Lee County Conservation THIS Saturday for some hocus pocus in the park and trick-or-treating in the campground from 5-7pm! This event is FREE and open to the public. There are limited first come, first serve campsites still available if you want to participate in decorating and handing out candy!
