The Moose will be serving a free will offering breakfast on Dec 10th from 8:00 – 11:00. The menu includes: Sausage Gravy & biscuits, scrambled eggs, hash browns, pancakes & sausage links. Thank you so much.

The New London Public Library will wrap your Christmas Gifts for you from 10:00am – 2:00pm!  Drop off your gifts, wrapping materials and contact information at the library.  You will be notified when your gifts are ready for pick up!  A flat rate of $3.00 per gift is charged; additional donations are welcome!  All proceeds go toward the New London Public Library Wishlist!

The Danville Lions is sponsoring a CHRISTMAS WALK with a Vendor Show in the Danville Elementary Multipurpose Room from 1:00pm – 6:00pm and a Downtown Walk on North Main Street from 3:00pm – 6:00pm!  Celebrate Christmas in Danville this afternoon!

Players Workshop will hold open auditions for its winter comedy, The Wild Women of Winedale, on Dec. 10-11, 2023, at 7:00 p.m., at the Workshop at 1431 Grove St., Burlington. ​The Wild Women of Winedale tells the story of the feisty, fun-loving Wild Sisters of Virginia, three southern women who have supported each other through life’s up and downs. Now at pivotal points in their lives, they become determined to de-clutter and make new starts, leading to comedy and lots of laughs for the audience.

​Parts are available for nine (9) women, ages forties to seventies. Some roles may be doubled. Includes numerous small parts with limited rehearsal time.  **These are OPEN AUDITIONS; COME ONE AND ALL! Auditions will take the form of readings from the play, so no special preparation is needed.
