Namaste in Nature, sponsored by the Lee County Conservation Department, will begin at 9:00am at Pollmiller Park.

Enjoy the Spring Shop About along the Historic Hills Scenic Byway and celebrate Mother’s Day Weekend spanning from Blakesburg to Donnellson!  Today from 9:00am – 4:00pm, enjoy the 105 mile route full of beautiful small towns in Southeast Iowa.  There will be demonstrations and specials during this event.  Find the brochure HERE! Stuff the Truck from 10:00am to 2:00pm at the Mount Pleasant Christian School (1505 E Washington St, Mt. Pleasant). All donated goods will be sold to help build homes in Henry County. Donations accepted include appliances, building materials, bathroom cabinets, doors and windows, gardening tools, household/office/outdoor furniture, paint and supplies, sinks, toiles, tiles, carpets, rugs. Donations NOT accepted: Broken items, electronics, TVs, empty paint containers, florescent ceiling lights, mattresses/bedding, single pane windows.

It’s a Mt. Pleasant Community Bike Rodeo out at Mapleleaf Athletic Complex from 10:00am – NOON sponsored by the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital!   Kindergarten through 2nd graders: bring your bike for a free tune up, get your helmet fitted, and ride a bike course!  All are eligible to win and new bike and students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Mother’s Day Sale at Kramer’s Gas and Grocery, 108 S. Maple Street in Salem!  From 8:00am – 2:00pm, you can pick up gifts, gift baskets, baked goods, flowers and more!  Kramer’s is right by the park, support Relay for Life!
