The Donnellson Library has story hour at 10:00am, a foam cannon at 2:00pm, and a friends meeting at 4:30pm. They will offer more activities everyday at 2pm, reading hour at 10am on Tuesdays, and Toddler Time at 10:00am on Thursdays through the rest of June and the month of July too!

The Children’s Discovery Center at the Mt. Pleasant Public Library is open today from 12:00pm – 2:00pm!  The Discovery Center is geared toward younger children, there is something to “discover” for all ages!

Palliative Care-Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center is hosting an informational session on a new Patient Partner Volunteer program. The informational session will be held  from 2-3 p.m. in the Maple/Walnut Conference Rooms on the West Burlington campus (Lower Level).  This new Patient Partner Volunteer program aims to match volunteers with Palliative Care patients to help them navigate the healthcare system, accompanying them to medical appointments, helping them understand their plan of care, and supporting them in successfully achieving their goals of care.  The Patient Partner Volunteers will help Palliative Care patients reach independence when possible.  For more information, contact Great River Health Volunteer Services at 319-768-3340.
