The Swedesburg Churchmen are serving a PANCAKE BREAKFAST from 7:00am – 9:30am at the Parish Hall, 201 Academy Avenue.  The menu includes pancakes, sausage, eggs, juice, and coffee!  This breakfast is a freewill offering with all proceeds going to Growing Hope Globally to support local efforts to help alleviate world hunger.

The Donald M. Wasson VFW Post 7641 Auxiliary is hosting their annual Veterans Brunch from 10:30am – 1:00pm at 802 E. McKinley in New London.  The menu includes Biscuits & Gravy, Egg Casseroles, Fruit, Grilled Pork Loin, Cheesy Potatoes & Veggies.  This is a free will donation and all are welcome to this Veterans Day Observance brunch!

The Lincoln Street Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant features Guest Pastor Jody Adams, who will share music and a message!  The service is from 10:30am – 11:30am at 1206 North Lincoln Street.

The MPCHS Drama Department presents “PUFFS” , the annual Fall Play at the Heatilator Performing Arts Center, 307 East Monroe St. with a Matinee at 2:00pm.  Tickets are $10 at the door!

Enjoy a steaming bowl of chili!  The place to be is Trenton Sunday afternoon, Nov 10, where the folks at the United Methodist Church will serve from 4:00-6:00.  You are welcome to eat your fill for the gift of a free will offering. There will be toppings and desserts, too. Half the proceeds will be used to buy winterwear—hats, gloves, mittens, scarves—to share with school children and adults in Henry County. The Sunrise Room is fully accessible, with plenty of free parking.  Come enjoy supper, and share some warmth with neighbors for the winter.  Trenton United Methodist Church, Trenton, Sunday afternoon from 4:00-6:00.
