The Mt. Pleasant Chamber Alliance Government Relations Committee is hosting a Legislative Forum featuring State Representatives Taylor Collins and Jeff Shipley and State Senators Adrian Dickey and Mark Lofgren. The forum begins at 8:30am at the Union Block, 111 W. Monroe Street in Mt. Pleasant.  All MP Area Chamber of Commerce Members are invited.

The Children’s Discovery Center in Mt. Pleasant is open from 10am – 12pm today!  Located at 307 E. Monroe Street, The Children’s Discovery Center is full of fun and adventure!

The Salem Crew Public Library is hosting Story Hour at 10:30am with Henry County Farm Bureau.  “Apples” by Gail Gibbons is the featured story with Apple Taste Testing and a take home activity. 107 E. Cherry Street in Salem.

The New London Masonic Lodge will be at Tractor Supply in Mt. Pleasant from 10am – 2pm selling raffle tickets!  This is your chance to win a Henry Golden Boy 22 Rifle!  The New London Masonic Lodge will also be at the VFW in New London selling raffle tickets from 5pm – 7:3pm.

The Mt. Pleasant Panther 9th Annual Trap Banquet Fundraiser begins at 5:30pm with dinner served at 6:30pm.  A $25 tickets includes the meal at Airport Road Vineyard.  There are sponsorships for sale, a silent & live auction and a raffle.  All proceeds benefit the MP Trap Program.

The Winfield Scott Sodbusters 4-H Club is hosting a Pork Loin Supper (with sides & desserts) at the Twin Lakes Country Club from 5pm – 7pm, 407 N. Clark Street in Winfield.  This meal is a free will donation with all proceeds going toward learning activities and fieldtrips to support the Sodbusters Club.

The Crawfordsville Lyons are hosting a Pancake Supper from 4pm-7pm at the Crawfordsville Fire Station!  Enjoy pancakes, sausage, & eggs; dine-in or carry-out.  This meal is a free will donation with all proceeds going toward scholarships!

New London VFW post  7641 is serving their delicious Catfish & Chicken Dinner from 5p-7p tonight.  Catfish is $13 per person and Chicken is $9 per person !  Your dinner includes a roll and a choice of 2 sides: french fries, baked beans and coleslaw.  Also, the New London Masonic Lodge will be selling raffle tickets for a chance to win a Henry Golden Boy 22 Rifle until 7:30pm.
