The Mt. Pleasant Chamber Alliance Government Relations Committee is hosting a Legislative Forum featuring State Representatives Taylor Collins and Jeff Shipley and State Senators Adrian Dickey and Mark Lofgren. The forum begins at 8:30am at Mt. Pleasant City Hall, 307 E. Monroe Street.  All MP Area Chamber of Commerce Members are invited.

The Children’s Discovery Center, at 307 E. Monroe Street next to the Mt. Pleasant Public Library, is open from 12pm – 2pm.  The Children’s Discovery Center has something to “discover” for all ages!  The Discovery Center is also open on Saturdays from 10am-12pm.

The Van Buren County Extension and the Farmington Public Library are hosting story time and an activity event from 2pm-3pm for READ ACROSS IOWA. The Farmington Public Library is at 205 Elm Street.
