The West Point Fire and Rescue Department is hosting a Pork Loin Dinner from 4:30pm – 7:00pm at the Fire Station.  The meal, featuring pork loin, cheesy potatoes & green beans, is a Free Will donation with all proceeds going toward the purchase of a new rescue truck.  This meal is for PICK UP ONLY!  Enter from 6th street in West Point and a firefighter will bring your meals to your vehicle.

The Mt. Pleasant City Compost Site, Southwest of Saunders Park (at the end of Yocum Lane & Hoaglan Drive) is open today and every Saturday through summer, weather permitting, from 8am – 5pm!  The compost site will also be open on Wednesdays, 1pm – 6pm.  Trash stickers are no longer needed, and for more information, you can call 319-385-1480.
