Tonight is the last Taco Tuesday for the Mount Pleasant Christian School school year.  They have a team of students and parents that will be serving 5-6:30. Not only will they have the usual 10 inch soft-shell tacos, Super nachos, taco salad bowls And walking tacos. They will also be offering a scoop of ice cream with two chocolate chip cookies for dessert. Also selling 16 ounce containers of their homemade salsa!

It’s always Taco Tuesday at The Moose Lodge. Serving tacos, walking tacos & taco salads from 5:00 – 7:00. Toppings include cheese, lettuce, sour creme, salsa, Jalapenos peppers, onions, tomatoes, chips on walking tacos & then for another $1 you can have extra meat. You select what you want. The Oakland Mills Nature Center is featuring “Glowing Rocks” with Mike Messer from 6-8pm.  Dig into the how’s and why’s of rock fluorescence!  See glowing rocks from Iowa and around the world.  Preregistration is appreciated, but not required.  The Oakland Mills Nature Center is located South of Mt. The WACO Orchestra will perform at 6:30pm in the WACO High School gym. Tomorrow, the WACO Choir and Band will perform at 6:30pm.
