New London City Wide Garage Sales!

The St. Alphonsus Ladies for Charity Rummage Sale is being held at St. Alphonsus Manning Hall from 9am to noon and today is the last day! Manning Hall is located at 607 S. Jackson Street in Mt. Pleasant.

The Mt. Pleasant Children’s Discovery Center is open from 10am – 12pm!  The Discovery Center is located next to the Public Library at 307 E. Monroe Street, with fun things for children to discover!

The Dover Museum, 213 W. Main Street in New London will be open from 1pm – 4pm.  The museum is handicapped accessible and there is no charge.  Dover Museum is also open on Sunday afternoon from 1pm – 4pm.

The Van Allen House, on the Henry County Heritage Trust Campus, is open from 1:00pm – 4:00pm.  The Van Allen House will be open on the first Saturday of each month and is located on White Street, next to the former Saunders Elementary School Building.

The City of Mt. Pleasant Compost Site is open from 8am – 5pm and is located at Yocum Lane and Hoaglin Drive behind Saunders Park.  The compost site is also open on Wednesdays from 1pm – 6pm.

“Made in Morning Sun” is a vendor blender featuring one- of- a- kind items from 9am – 1pm at the Mellinger Memorial Library on Division Street in Morning Sun.  A lunch of pulled pork, sides and drinks will be available for a small fee/donation.  Have some lunch and do some shopping at “Made in Morning Sun”!
