The Des Moines County Fair continues today with Food Vendors & Vendor Market Open from 10am – 9pm and the Republican Ice Cream Social from 3-5pm!  At 5pm it’s the Southeast Iowa Final Drive.

Trenton’s Green Mound Church is hosting a HOMEMADE Ice Cream Social from 5-7pm!  The “Happy Memories” singing group will be performing and everyone is invited!  Green Mound Church is at 1275 Merrimac Road in Trenton!

The Fairfield Youth Performing Arts features a production of “Mary Poppins Jr.” at the Fairfield Arts & Convention Center at 3:00pm!  Tickets are $20 for adults and $12 for youth.

Muni Jazz will perform in Burlington’s Crapo Park band shell at 6:15pm followed by a concert by the Burlington Municipal Band  at 7:30pm!  Derrick Murphy is the conductor for today’s performance. Bring your lawn chair and enjoy and enjoy an evening of music!  The Burlington Municipal Band presents concerts at the Crapo Park band shell each Sunday evening at 7:30 P.M. during the summer months.
