“Pay it Forward” is hosting a fundraising event on Tuesday, July 15th. Enjoy an afternoon of of bridge, golf, games & drinks at the Mt. Pleasant Country Club.  The fee is $30 per person and all proceeds go to local organizations and individuals who are in need of assistance.  Go to the “Pay it Forward” face book page for registration.

The Henry County Health Center Diabetes Education Department is holding a series of events and classes to promote diabetes education and to offer support throughout the month of July.  A Diabetes Group Class scheduled for July 22nd from 8:30am – 2:30pm and is open to anyone who has Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes.  Registration is required for this class by Friday, July 18th.  There is a fee; however many insurances cover the program.  To register, call 319-385-6518
