St. James the Less Catholic Church in St. Paul, Iowa is holding their “God’s Acre Sale” today at the St. James Parish Center!  Lunch is served at 11am with the auction beginning at noon!  Lunch includes Turkey and Roast Beef Sandwiches, Dressing, Gravy, Cranberry Salad, Corn, Potatoes, & Desserts!  Happy Hour is from 2pm – 6:30pm, the raffle is $20/ticket or 6/$100.

Player’s Workshop, 1431 Grove St. in Burlington, opens the theatrical season with the musical farce “Something Rotten”! Performance is at 2pm.  “Something Rotten” has a PG-13 rating, and the biggest celebrity in England is a playwright named William Shakespeare! This is the last day to see “Something Rotten”!
