The Henry County Health Center Diabetes Education is holding a Diabetes Group Class from 8:30am – 2:30pm in Suite 25 at the hospital.  The diabetes education class is open to anyone who has Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes.  There is a fee; however, many insurance plans cover the program.

The Mt. Pleasant Christian School, 1505 E. Washington Street, is holding an open house and pre-registration for the 2026-27 school year at 5:00pm.  An Information presentation will begin at 5:30pm where you will learn about enrollment, programs, and next steps.  The open house is an opportunity to discover what makes the Mt. Pleasant Christian School a place for learning and growth.

Join in a Soup Supper at the Mt. Pleasant Christian School from 5pm – 6:30pm.  The supper is a free will donation, with all proceeds going toward the high school Spring Trip to the Ark Encounter & Creation Museum.

Mt. Pleasant School District recognizes FFA week at the high school! A full week of events designed to recognize FFA  have been planned.  Any money raised through these events go to the MP FFA Chapter to help with their projects and to support the chapter.

• Tuesday – Faculty breakfast…FFA members will be cooking and serving breakfast to all staff in the district.
• Wednesday – Horsepower Day – FFA members will be driving a tractor to school!  STRAWBERRIES ARRIVE AROUND 2:30PM!
• Thursday – Community Pancake Supper 5:30pm – 7pm in the commons area of the high school.  The meal is open to everyone and is a free will donation.  The bush hog raffle winner will be announced.
• Friday – Kiss A Pig Day!  Students pay a dollar and the teacher with the most donations wins and will have to kiss a pig!

It’s always Taco Tuesday at The Moose Lodge. Serving tacos, walking tacos & taco salads from 5:00 – 7:00. Toppings include cheese, lettuce, sour creme, salsa, Jalapenos peppers, onions, tomatoes, chips on walking tacos & then for another $1 you can have extra meat. You select what you want.
