Mount Pleasant Community Theatre is hosting a children’s theatre workshop titled School for Spies June 22nd through June 26th. The workshop will run daily from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with a final performance by participants on Friday, June 26th at 6:30 p.m. The program is open to ages 7 through 18, with a cost of $50 per child. Fishing Tournament at Oakland Mills at 7am- The Save the Bridge Catfish Tournament starts at 7, while registration is at 6am. It is $25 per adult and $10 for young anglers. Trophies, drawings, and raffle prizes will be available for main categories for wrangling Catfish. All proceeds support local community efforts to raise awareness for and preserve historic infrastructure.
