A New London woman was arrested during a traffic stop in Washington County early Thursday morning.
A Washington County sheriff’s deputy stopped a vehicle near Highway 218 and 192nd Street in the Ainsworth area at approximately 1:45 a.m.
Linda Lee McCumber, 26, of New London, was arrested on Des Moines County warrants charging her with unauthorized use of a credit card involving less than $1,500 and fifth-degree theft.
Her combined bond was set at $2,800. McCumber was taken to the Washington County Jail to await transportation to Des Moines County.
The charges are accusations, and McCumber is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
