August Exhibit Opening

The August exhibit at the Mt. Pleasant Main Street Art Center is titled “The Great American Freak Show”  this show has fourteen brand new originals depicting the state of the world,  Some of these works will seem harsh, others will give you a warm feeling inside…James Walker Henry has been producing his Surreal pieces for over thirty-nine years, addressing social and political issues giving the viewer a better understanding about the world….still wearing his signature suits, James will be wearing his 401 monkey suit (as seen in his work “Monkey Business” ) oh yeah, and there will be DOW bananas at the reception!  The reception will be held August 4 from 5 to 7 pm. Henry’s musical guest,playing original ballads, is recording artist Pat Kaltefleiter. His show will hang for the full month of August.
