Mount Pleasant — Iowa Wesleyan was held to just one hit as Mount Mercy picked up a 10-0 win over the Tigers yesterday at Mapleleaf.
Kara Krieger had Wesleyan’s lone hit, a single, as Mount Mercy’s duo of Jayna Witzany and Madi Sprague teamed up to strike out nine batters over five sparkling innings.
The loss moved Wesleyan to 3-16 overall.
They’ll take part in the CAC Classic this Friday in Nevada, Missouri.
