Citizen comments: Comments must be directed to the subject under consideration. The presiding officer shall rule on the relevance of the citizen comments. Citizens making personal, impertinent, or slanderous remarks may be barred by the presiding officer from further comment before the Council during the meeting.
- Call to order, 5:00 p.m..
- Accept or amend the agenda.
- Open forum: A time set aside to receive comments from the public regarding city business. The Mayor and City Council welcome comments from the public on any subject pertaining to City business, including items on this agenda. You are asked to state your name and address for the record and to limit your remarks to five minutes in order that others may be given the opportunity to speak. The Order of Business is at the discretion of the Chair. No action will be taken.

- Action on the November 2024 sheriff’s report.
- Discussion and action on the proposed 2025/2026 fiscal year Law Enforcement agreement.
- Wastewater Treatment plant project.
- Approval of the Engagement Agreement with Ahlers Cooney Attorneys.
- Discussion and action on Resolution 2024-27, ordering construction of the Proposed Wastewater Improvements – Lagoon Aeration & Submerged Attached Growth Reactors, and fixing a date for hearing thereon and taking of bids therefor.
- Review of documents pertaining to the Notice of Public Hearing and Notice to Bidders; action by council if needed.
- Action on any other items that may need to be addressed pertaining to the WWTP project.
- Fire Chief/building inspector report.
- Approval of report.
- Public Works report.
- Discussion and action the proposal from LL Pelling, pricing for the 2025 summer street work.
- Review of letter received from the IDNR dated December 9, 2024. Action if needed.
- Approval of the public works written report.
- Approval of consent agenda.
- Council minutes of December 2, 2024 (full & summary minutes).
- November 2024 financial report.
- Payment of bills.
