Dennis E. Fraise, 66, of Mount Pleasant, died Saturday, August 13, 2022, at Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington.
Dennis was born November 26, 1955, in Mount Pleasant, the son of Victor and Jean (Peterman) Fraise. He graduated from Mount Pleasant High School in 1975. Dennis worked for Staats, Buff’s Truckstop and Community Actions. He served on the Salem Volunteer Fire Department, was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. Dennis could be found selling collectibles at flea markets, or on the hunt for his next great treasure at yard sales. He enjoyed his cats, attending Salem Old Settlers and Midwest Old Threshers.
He is survived by two sisters, Joan Panos of Mount Pleasant, Ann Griffin of Fairfield; brother Michael (Becky) Fraise of Mount Pleasant, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Tom and Mark; and two sisters Kathy Fraise and infant Veronica.
A Memorial Mass will be held 10:00 am Saturday, August 20, 2022, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, with Rev. Paul Connolly as celebrant. Inurnment will be in the St. Alphonsus Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday from 2:00-7:00 pm at the Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel where family will greet friends from 4:00-7:00 pm. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm.
