Don Roger Bradley, 84 of Keosauqua passed away November 23, 2021 at the Keosauqua Health Care Facility in Keosauqua Iowa. Don was born March 7th, 1937 to Duane Bradley and Letha (Berstler) Bradley in Argyle Iowa and attended Argyle High School. He married Alma Lois Jannings on February 10, 1957.
Don worked in road construction for most of his career. He was a heavy equipment operator, mechanic, heavy equipment truck driver and foremen later in his career. He was very proud of his contribution and participation in building the Lake Sugema Indian Creek watershed project. After Don retired he worked part time for his Brother-in-law, Fred Zeitler doing farm work.
Don lived in Milton, Iowa the majority of his life until moving to Ottumwa, Iowa after his retirement. Don enjoyed working on autos, small engines, taking long walks and playing cards.
He is survived by his wife Lois of Ottumwa, four children, Becky (Joe) Rehm of Olathe, Kansas; Dusty (Lindy) Bradley of Pella, Iowa; Lindi (Jeremy) Thomas of Milton, Iowa and Doug (Regenia) Bradley of Ottumwa, Iowa, two brothers; Dean (Sharon) Bradley of Montrose, Iowa and David (Mary) Bradley of Greeley, Colorado, numerous grand-children and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Don was proceeded in death by a Brother Darrell Bradley of Keokuk, Iowa and a sister-in-law, Nancy Zeitler of Douds, Iowa.
