The Mt. Pleasant Community Middle School Instrumental and Choral Departments will feature their beautiful selections of music at 7:00pm tonight.  This Winter Concert is being held at the Mt. Pleasant High School, 2104 South Grand Avenue.  The event is free and open to the public.

Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Henry County will host re-shows of two commercial pesticide applicator Continuing Instruction Courses. Commercial Ag Weed, Insect, and Plant Disease Pest Control 1A, 1B, and 1C – 9:00 am to 12 noon. Seed Treatment 4 – 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm. Seating is limited and preregistration is preferred. Walk-ins are not guaranteed admission. The registration fee is $45 per course. Cash, check, and credit cards are accepted. All trainings will take place at the Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Henry County office located at 127 North Main Street in Mount Pleasant, Iowa.
