The Henry County Ministers Association invite you to their annual Good Friday “Way of the Cross” Community Service!  This event, will begin at noon at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 607 S. Jackson Street.  Following opening devotions, the walk will proceed to the First United Methodist Church on Main Street with stops at 14 Stations, remembering the path of Jesus’ walk to the cross.  Those who do not want to walk the entire route will be able to experience the Stations of the Cross at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church.

Green Mound Church in Trenton will hold Good Friday Services at 6:30pm.  The public is invited: 1275 Merrimac Road.

The First Baptist Church, 100 E. Webster Street in Mt. Pleasant, is hosting a Teen Egg Hunt by flashlight!  The Egg Hunt will begin after Good Friday Service, which starts at 6:00pm!  Easter eggs will be filled with local gift cards, candy, and more! This is open to any teenager and anyone is welcome for the Good Friday service.

From Monday of Holy Week through Good Friday, The Rev. Court Fischer will be offering Holy Communion from 6-9 AM in the Sanctuary of First United Methodist Church. The United Methodist Church practices Open Communion, meaning it is available to people of all faiths. This is come and go as your time allows. You make take communion and leave right away, or you are welcome to include a time of meditation and prayer as you are led. You do not need to call the church and ask to come. All are welcome and invited during those hours.
